Certification Engineer / Certification Scheme Manager

Java Web Developer

We are looking for a developer to join our Digital Products team based in Watford for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be part of a team following agile practices to develop java-based Spring MVC web applications.

The developer will work as part of a small sub-team to develop the YellowJacket web-based health and safety application as well as contributing to the mobile application for the product on Android, iOS and Windows platforms.

Construction Sector Performance Lead

BRE is undertaking a major four year Research and Development programme in the construction sector together with a consortium of partners and stakeholders, focusing on offsite construction and digital technologies and processes. A major element of the programme will be the development and management of key performance indicators, methods, tools and benchmarks.

The KPIs will cover a range of different leading and lagging indicator types including those that measure programme outputs, outcomes and impacts. These include for example measuring the level of engagement with industry and projects, industry capacity, the through-life performance of buildings (design, construction, in operation, end of life or re-purposing) and aggregated economic, social and environmental impacts.

The individual will use their skills and experience to research and develop this suite of indicators, measurement tools, data strategy and insights. This role will provide research support to the Programme Manager in the delivery of the overall strategy. You will work closely with many stakeholders and delivery partners across the UK to develop compelling, well-thought-out recommendations.

IT Service Delivery Manager

The primary function of the IT Service Delivery Manager is to ensure that the IT Service Delivery & IT Infrastructure teams deliver a high-quality and secure IT Service to BRE internal and external customers, and that this service shows an incremental continuous improvement over time. 

The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery of all IT Services related to desktop, laptop & mobile infrastructure as well as all server and network technology, including the management of contracted 3rd party cloud and managed service providers. The role is also responsible for the IT Service Desk function. These IT Services are provided to all internal Customers (BRE staff, associates and approved contractors). 

The role will require excellent Customer focus, Customer Service and line management skills, as well as a good working knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and technical knowledge, to successfully lead the teams responsible for the operation, management and improvement of BRE’s IT infrastructure Services.

BRE are looking to grow our IT service at our main campus, and seek a IT Support Engineer.  The primary function of the role is to ensure that all of BRE’s IT User device infrastructure is maintained, secured, operated and managed to meet (or exceed) agreed service levels. IT User Device infrastructure includes; all BRE desktops & laptops, including Apple Mac computers, smartphones and tablets, including the hardware, firmware, operating system(s) and application software installed on each device. Senior IT Service Desk Analyst

BRE are looking to grow our IT service at our main campus, and seek a Senior IT Service Desk Analyst.  They will be responsible for the delivery of IT Service Desk services to all internal Customers (BRE staff, associates and approved contractors) and authorised 3rd Parties that are permitted to use BRE’s IT Services.

Business Support Coordinator

BREEAM is an environmental assessment rating for buildings and is used throughout the world. The BREEAM Licensing team is a small department within BRE Global who manage the licensed assessor organisations who deliver BREEAM assessments.
