Construction Products Lead - Construction Programme

BRE is undertaking a major four-year R&D programme in the construction sector together with a consortium of partners and stakeholders, focusing on offsite construction and digital technologies and processes. A key element will be to lead research into multi-disciplinary assessments of construction products.

This exciting new role is for a Construction Products Lead to lead and coordinate research regarding the testing, assessment and certification of construction products, particularly those related to innovation in modern methods of construction.  Reporting to the Technical Lead, you will also work with a number of technical and engineering specialists within BRE and partners across the UK regarding the wider programme.

Senior IT Support Engineer

***Please note this role is only available on a 3 month contract***

 

Overview

The primary function of the Senior IT Support Engineer role is to take the lead on the support and continual improvement of all BRE’s IT User Device infrastructure. Providing expert advice to help ensure the IT environment is architected, configured, supported, maintained, operated, secured and managed to meet (or exceed) agreed service levels. IT User Device infrastructure includes; all BRE desktops & laptops, including Apple Mac computers, smartphones and tablets, including the hardware, firmware, operating system(s) and application software installed on each device. The role is also responsible for the specification, configuration, operation, security and management of BRE’s Mobile Device Management environment and for configuration of policies enforced on BRE & BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) mobile devices.

A secondary function of the Senior IT Support Engineer role is to cover the IT Service Desk when needed to enhance 1st line support cover.

The Senior IT Support Engineer is responsible for the delivery of device security services across all User Device IT Services that are provided to internal Customers (BRE staff, associates and approved contractors) and authorised 3rd Parties.

The role requires excellent Customer focus and Customer Service skills, as well as a good working knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and technical desktop, laptop, Mac, tablet and smartphone configuration, security and management skills, to ensure all BRE and authorised BYOD devices comply with internal policies and external standards such as ISO 27001.

QMS/FPC Certification Programme Manager - Fire Suppression

Project Coordinator - Construction Programme

Overview of Role

We are looking for a competent Project Coordinator to undertake a variety of administrative and programme coordination tasks. Your key responsibility will be the maintenance of a robust programme plan and RAID log. Technical Lead - Construction Programme

Overview of Role 

BRE is undertaking a major four year R&D programme in the construction sector together with a consortium of partners and stakeholders, focusing on offsite construction and digital technologies and processes. A key element will be to coordinate key technical and engineering teams through all stages of the programme to ensure planned outcomes are achieved. 

This exciting new role is for a Technical Lead to facilitate the delivery of the technical outcomes across the programme.  You will also work with several technical and engineering partners who are distributed across the UK, to align specification, delivery and deployment.

BREEAM Scheme Manager

The role-holder will be responsible for managing the operational delivery and growth of the BREEAM Non-domestic Refurbishment & Fit-out certification business in the International market as part of the BREEAM existing buildings business. As a high growth area, the role-holder will be expected to contribute towards BREEAM’s overall success, through their leadership, commercial awareness and operational delivery of the scheme.

The activity must be undertaken in accordance with all approved BREEAM processes and procedures. Doing so in such a way as to maintain compliance with the standards to which BREEAM is accredited by UKAS and NSAI and ensuring each scheme is best placed to grow and meet or exceed its financial performance target. All work must be completed in line with the Divisional & Group strategy, including the values & ingredients for success.

Advanced Quality Engineer - Offsite Manufacturing

IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

BRE are looking to grow our IT service at our main campus, and seek an IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer.  The primary function of the role is to ensure that all BRE’s Data Centre and Network infrastructure is maintained, operated and managed to meet (or exceed) agreed service levels. This infrastructure includes all servers (physical & virtual), central data storage, network devices, security appliances, telephony and conferencing & presentation services (voice and video).

The IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer is responsible for the delivery of back-office, network and security services that under-pin all End-User IT Services that BRE provide to all internal Customers (BRE staff, associates and approved contractors) and has responsibility to ensure telephony and presentation technology is available when needed.
