BRE has a long and internationally recognised expertise in all areas of research, consultancy, testing and approvals, focused on the performance of materials and systems within buildings, to ensure good fire performance for life safety, the protection of property within buildings and the efficient operation of buildings.  BRE is offering unique and exciting opportunities for a graduate to join our team.

The services that we provide in fire are broad, and range from large-scale experimental studies in our burn hall (one of the largest in Europe) to desk-based analysis, computational modelling, fire engineering and independent testing, assessments and approval of various products and systems to British Standards, European Standards and LPCB Loss Prevention Standards (LPS).

Our work is used by designers, engineers, regulators and specifiers within the UK and internationally to improve life safety and property protection in the built environment, transport and infrastructure. It allows architects and specifiers to be sure that the products they select will perform as required, and manufacturers and suppliers can demonstrate the quality of their products and services.
